Evelyn (Wohltjen) Moe

Evelyn Moe, 99, formerly of Torrington passed away Nov.8, 2020 in Ulster Town NY.  She was the wife of the late Paul A. Moe.  Born in Brooklyn NY Dec. 23 1920 she was the daughter of the late Henry and Agnes Bertini Wohltjen.  She was an active member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church and served with their sewing and retirees group and enjoyed bowling, gardening, and square dancing. She was also a long time Girl Scout Leader and a member of Sullivan Senior Center.

She was predeceased by son William Moe,  and daughters Arlene Narvesen and Carol Mowry.  She is survived by grandchildren John and Roger Narvesen, Michael, and Steven Mowry and Diane Hartwell and Cheryl Hobart, and several great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday Nov 12 at 11 AM at Saint Paul's Church.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.  Friends may call at church Thursday from 10-11 AM  Memorial Contributions can be made to Saint Paul's Church Book of Remembrance.
