Obituary
Evelyn Herman, 88, of Goshen, passed away Monday, March 6th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Grant Herman.
Evelyn was born in Derby, CT on March 9, 1934, a daughter of the late Evelyn (Rooney) and Joseph McGee.
She was a Speech Pathologist and Hearing Audiologist, Special Education
Teacher in Torrington for over 40 years, and had worked for McDonalds in Torrington for over 30 years. She loved plants and animals, and the outdoors, making new friends everywhere she went.
She is survived by a son, Arthur and his wife Nicole (DallaValle) Herman and their sons Brandon and Dillon. She was predeceased by a daughter Denise Vasquez and a brother, Joseph Herman.
Burial at Mount Saint Joseph Cemetery in Derby is private. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Little Guild of Saint Francis.
