Eva Jacquemin -Native of Torrington - OCALA, Fla. – Eva Jacquemin, 92, formerly of Torrington, Conn., passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2019. She was the wife of the late Charles Jacquemin Sr. Eva Vera was born in Torrington on Oct. 11, 1926, a daughter of the late Eva Louise (Messenger) and Joseph Young, and was a graduate of Torrington High, class of 1944. She was employed by Nestle Co. in New Milford for many years. She had lived in Camarillo, Calif., for more than 20 years before moving to Florida. She is survived by her daughters Sharon Preato of Ocala, FL; Summer Richards of San Marcos, CA, and son David Jacquemin, and was predeceased by a son, James Jacquemin. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Phalen Funeral Home, 285 Migeon Ave., Torrington, with burial following at Hillside Cemetery.
