Eunice (Amutice) DiLaurenzio

Eunice Amutice DiLaurenzio, 94, of Torrington,CT made a peaceful transition to be with God and her husband on December 9, 2020. She was born on July 16, 1926 to Anthony and Helen Amutice in Torrington, CT.
Eunice was an honors student and graduated from Torrington High School in 1943. She married Domenic DiLaurenzio on May 6, 1946 after his return from WWII. They were happily married for 58 years. They had one child, Joyce DiLaurenzio McKenna.  Eunice worked at First Federal Savings and Loan in Torrington for many years.  An avid golfer, at age 80, Eunice sunk her first hole in one at Eastwood Country Club.  She also enjoyed knitting and made numerous baby blankets for all she loved. Eunice loved to travel and visited multiple European countries, but had a special love of Italy.
Eunice is survived by her daughter Joyce and son in law Jim McKenna of The Villages, Florida, granddaughter Sara McKenna of Avon, granddaughter Meghan McKenna Bavol and her husband Robert of Torrington, grandson Jimmy McKenna and wife Erica of East Granby, and her loving great grandchildren; Ava, Eila, Liam, Sophie, Brody and Max. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Domenic and brother Vincent Amutice.
