Elizabeth Mae (Wald) Veselic

 Elizabeth Mae Veselic, 87,of Torrington,CT, passed away peacefully, Sunday, November 7th, at Wolcott Hall.

Elizabeth was born and raised on a dairy farm in Torrington, daughter of the late Ethelyn (Bottass) and Emery Wald.  Betty worked  at Union Hardware where she met her husband,  Edward Veselic.

She is survived by 8 children, Cheryl Todhunter of Torrington, Edward Veselic of Winsted, Richard Veselic of Sandisfield MA, Catherine Mills of Richfield NC, Margaret Perkins of Torrington Pamela Christopher of Walthourville GA ,Ann Wrenn of Starville NY, and Linda Veselic of Torrington,  19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.  She also leaves 3 sisters, 1 brother, and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, Edward,  she was predeceased by sisters Arlene Seitz and Donna Durham.
Graveside Services will be held Friday Nov 12 at 11 AM at Winchester Center Cemetery.  online memorials www.phalenfuneral.com.
