It is with heavy hearts that the family of Donald Deegan MacLeod shares the sad news of his unexpected passing. He was the son of Edward and Catherine MacLeod, and attended Litchfield High School. After High school, he enlisted in the US Marine Corps where he served for four years. He was employed as a meter reader for CL&P for 30 years. Donald loved to travel and worked at the Sullivan Senior Center as their tour director. He also served for many years for the Torrington Veteran Service Office and was a Military Final Honors Squad member.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn, and two sons Scot and wife Heidi, and Shawn and wife Tina and their grandchildren. He also leaves a brother.Bruce and wife Carol.
