Dolores (Valliere) Krause

Dolores (Valliere) Krause, 94, formerly of Torrington. passed away Dec. 5, 2025 at Lakeland Regional Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Charles Krause Sr.  Born in Torrington, September 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Rena Gilpatrick Valliere. She attended Torrington schools where she was a drum majorette and band member, playing the accordion. She also played girls softball.

Sh is survived by son Charles and wife Kay, and a granddaughter Morgan Stevens and husband Russell. and 5 great-grandchildren.  In addition to her husband , she was predeceased by a son John, sister Barbara Patterson, brother Jack Valliere, and nephew Greg Patterson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday Dec. 19 at 11 AM at Saint Francis Church.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.  Friends may call Thursday from 5-7 PM at Phalen Funeral Home. www.phalenfuneral.com
