Dennis Josefow

Dennis Josefow, 74, of Torrington passed away Sept. 2, 2022, at Keystone in Torrington.  He was born in Torrington August 2, 1948, son of the late Edward and Josephine Cremasco Josefow.  He served in the US air Force at Canon AFB in New Mexico as a medical corpsman.  After his discharge, he worked at the University of New Mexico as an emergency department flight crew technician, retiring to Peoria AZ to be a companion and caregiver to his parents. He is survived by his brother Edward Josefow Jr and sisters Kathryn Josefow (Dr. Lori Smith) and Susan Baerny (Dennis Baerny), and nieces Mary Beth, Carloyn, Lexie, Julie, and nephews Michael, robin, and Joseph, as well as his much -adored cat, Ted.  Denny's family would like to thank his Guardian Angel on Earth, Mindy Feie for making his move to CT. possible, for nephews Robin and Jospeh for providing companionship and for Denny's Keystone Place family who provided loving care and understanding.  We are forever grateful.

Funeral Services will be held Friday Sept 16 at 11 Am at Immaculate Heart Church in Harwinton. Burial will follow at New St. Francis Cemetery.  Friends may call Thursday from 5-7 PM at Phalen Funeral Home.  www.phalenfuneral.com
