In Loving Memory of Denise Arnold

It is with a heavy heart that we share that Denise (Daigle) Arnold passed away on January 28th, 2025, at the age of sixty-five. Surrounded by loved ones, Denise left us peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.

Born on September 3rd, 1959, in Bristol, CT, Denise was the daughter of Jeannette Horton and Reno Daigle. She resided in Torrington, CT, for most of her life. Denise graduated from Torrington High School and later attended Torrington Beauty Academy for Cosmetology. Denise was a talented hairdresser and worked at local salons for several decades.

Denise will be remembered for many things; she was chosen as bride of Litchfield County by Litchfield County Times in 1979, she played softball with local teams for many years and tending to her gardens gave her a great sense of pride. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, spending time with her grandchildren and staying connected with classmates.

She is predeceased by her parents and siblings Lee Daigle, Clifford Daigle, and Patricia Daigle.

She is survived by her husband Terrance Arnold, her sister Janet Wagner, her daughter Mikala Santoro, her son Ryan Santoro and wife Nichole, her son Taylor Santoro and wife Indira, and her grandchildren Carter Smulksi, Avery Santoro, Brooke Santoro, and Haley Santoro.

She will be remembered as a person who was always smiling and laughing, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  Friends may call Feb. 7 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Phalen Funeral Home with a service at 6:45 PM.
