Daphne (Wilmot) Bobinski

Daphne Bobinski, 88, of Torrington, passed away peacefully on  Wednesday, July 31, 2024. 

Daphne requested that her obituary say she was born October 18, 1935, lived, and died. 

She is survived by her daughter Barbara Jacklin and husband Greg of Torrington, her son Ken Bobinski and wife Leah of Farmington, her brother Edward Wilmont of Torrington, as well as her grandchildren Courtney Stangle and husband Ian of Southington and Daren Jacklin and wife Jessica of Torrington. She was lovingly known as ‘Ammy’ to them, and her great-grandchildren; Payton, Johnathon, Michaela Jacklin, and Hudson Stangle, as well as a new great-granddaughter coming in October. She also leaves behind her lifelong friend of over 60 years, Fran Pescatore. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Albert “Bill” Bobinski. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the Hillside Cemetery Chapel. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Torrington Salvation Army in Daphne’s name.
