Christopher Massey

Christopher Massey, 36 of Torrington left this world unexpectedly on April 24, along with his life partner Danielle Dubois. He was the son of Don and Lori Massey of Goshen. He is survived by his sisters, Brooke Jakway and husband Chris of NJ, April Smith and husband Joshua of Goshen.  Grandmothers Barbara Henderson of Southbury and Delcia Massey of Torrington. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles ,nieces, nephews and cousins.
Christopher led a life guided by his big heart, beautiful smile and amazing hugs. He loved to serve people in any way he could and help them to become a better version of themselves- free of any judgment. He dedicated his life to helping people through the Healing Arts of Thai Massage, Auricular Therapy and Meditation. Chris was also the consummate entertainer. Being a natural entertainer was not a hobby for Chris but a true way of life. His showmanship and talents led him from performing magic tricks to fire spinning. He was known for his presence every summer since 2010 in the Torrington Marketplace Summer Event . He will be remembered as a bright shining light in the various communities he served.
Chris truly tried to lived his life to the fullest. Through simple pleasures and true love and devotion to his life partner Danielle and her children, he found his home in her heart.
A Funeral mass will be offered on May 3 at 12:00 at St. Anthony Parish in Litchfield. Calling hours will be held at the Phalen Funeral Home, 285 Migeon Ave, Torrington on May 4th
