Christa A Nadeau

Christa Adelheid Nadeau Torrington CT passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 8, 2021.  

Born in Klagenfurt, Austria on November 19, 1939 to the late Emil and Theresia Wayland,  Christa with her sense of adventure emigrated from Austria to the United States in the late 60's proudly becoming a United States citizen several years later. 
Christa loved fashion, the local farmers market, socializing with her friends and back in the day loved to travel, however upon retirement from the Twin Colony in Torrington was ready to embark on her next adventure, the creative kind.  Christa has written numerous pieces of poetry, created unique pieces of jewelry and most recently a beautiful garden filled with sunflowers to the delight of the native birds in the area.  Christa also enjoyed time with her animals Ludie, Dreamer and Ingel.    

Christa is survived by daughters Marion Pawlow, husband Brian Pawlow and Donna Nadeau and partner Mario LaPorta.  Christa is survived by two sisters whom reside in Austria Elfie Moser and Ingrid Holzinger and has several nieces and nephews of which she truly loved.
