Chester W Samok Jr

Chester W Samok, Jr, 75, of Bristol, CT, passed away Sunday, March 12th, at home.
Chester was born in Bantam, CT on August 27, 1947, a son of the late Rose (Ferrato) and Chester W Samok, Sr.
He loved spending his time camping at Moose Meadow, fishing with his family, watching sports, especially the Red Sox, and detailing his cars. Most of all he loved his children, grandkids and dog Toby. Everyone who knows Chester knew how much he loved to complain about anything and everything, but still brighten their day.
He is survived by his son Chester Samok III (fiancé Katie Reiners) of Norwich, daughters Amy Jank (husband Josh) of Manchester and Melissa Hock (husband Conrad) of Torrington, grandchildren Antonio (fiancé Kassidy), Meadow, Landon, and Hunter, as well as several siblings, nieces and nephew. The family would also like to thank his caregiver Deborah Smith for her years of service, love, and support for Chester.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 25th at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington, CT. In lieu of flowers please donate to The Little Guild of St. Francis animal shelter. The family will announce a celebration of life in the coming weeks.
