It is with a heavy heart that we share that Brian Donovan, 58, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
Brian was born in Torrington, CT on July 1 st , 1966, to William Donovan Jr. and Victoria (Hackett) Donovan. Brian was a graduate of Oliver Wolcott Technical High School, class of 84’, in the automotive trade.
At 20 years old, Brian began his lifelong career at O&G Industries and spent the next 38 years mastering his skill and providing leadership as a welder foreman. The commitment and passion Brian had for his trade and for O&G was unparalleled. It brought him great pride and joy to get to work early every day, work hard, and help others.
Everyone who knew Brian knew what an amazing person he was. He was the kind of person who showed up for everyone. He was kind, patient, extremely hardworking and loved his family with
everything he had. He was absolutely adored by his grandchildren. He loved his dogs, the cape, going for rides around the lake in his Jeep, Saturday morning breakfast with his dad, and he loved his wife in a way that set the bar extremely high for his daughters.
