Billy Buice

Billy Joe Buice, 85, of Torrington, CT, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026. Born on May 13, 1940, in Greenville, South Carolina, Billy eventually made Connecticut his home. A skilled electrician by trade, he lent his talents to several local companies, including Ducci Electrical Contractors, Turri Electric, and Bell Electric, before finishing his career as a supervisor at Turner and Seymour Manufacturing Company, retiring in 1992.

Retirement didn’t slow Billy down; he found joy in a constant stream of home projects, utilizing his many handyman skills. However, his true passion was being outdoors on his tractor. He took immense pride in his lawn, meticulously maintaining it until it rivaled the greens of a professional golf course.

Billy is survived by Carol (Robustelli) Buice, his devoted wife of 43 years. He is also survived by his children, Barbie Buice, Susie Simmons, and Jimmy Buice; and his stepchildren, Dawn Lascari (Albert), Denise McCarthy (Stephen), and Henry Borovy. He is further survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his eldest daughter, Christine Donohue and Carol's eldest son, Dennis Borovy Jr.
