Bernice (Arnold) Kibbe

Bernice Kibbe, 100, passed away on Saturday April 4, 2026 at Valerie Manor. She was the wife of the late Dan Kibbe. She was born in Harwinton on December 28, 1925, the daughter of the late Anna (Hall) and Edward Arnold. She was employed by The Torrington Company and Aerospace for many years.

She is survived by her sons , Dan (Rose), Don (Nan), and David (Nancy Michna) and 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. One of 15 siblings, she was predeceased by sisters Eleanor Bolle, Alicia Holden, Dorothy Martinkus, and Elizabeth Ruzbasan and brothers Edward, Franklin, Francis, Frederick, Henry, John, Richard, Robert, Timothy, and William Arnold.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 AM at Saint Francis Church, Torrington with burial following at new Saint Francis Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the Mass from 9:30-10:30 at Phalen Funeral Home.
