Antoine Abou Arrage Obituary

Antoine Camille Abou Arrage, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother was called tohis eternal resting place on May 1, 2025. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving
family. Tony, as he was affectionately known, was born on July 20, 1942 in Machghara, Lebanon in the beautiful Beqaa Valley. He was predeceased by his parents Camille and Latify (Noujaim) AbouArrage.

He is survived by his beloved wife Rosita (Nejaime) Abou Arrage of Harwinton. He is also survived by his three children, Marc Abou Arrage (Mirlinda) of Wolcott, Andre Abou Arrage (Lisa) of Glastonbury, and Susane Hansley (Michael) of Manchester. Tony was the very proud “Papa” of Mayci, Marc Jr., Dylan, Evan, Lewy and Lila whom he adored and loved with all of his heart. Tony treasured his siblings Suad, Nabil, Antoinette, Salwa, Samia, and Chakar, and leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tony grew up in a beautiful village in Lebanon that he loved to visit when he traveled back to see his family. He came to the United States in 1973, met his wife Rosi, and they built a beautiful life and family together. On April 6th, they celebrated 50 years of marriage. Tony was extremely proud of his family, loved to gather with family and friends to enjoy a Lebanese meal, and loved to watch his children and grandchildren play sports. He had an amazing sense of humor and was a man of principle who always emphasized right from wrong.

Tony was a Produce Manager for many years and took pride in his 45 years in the industry. He had an amazing work ethic and received many accolades throughout his career. He enjoyed watching boxing, mixed martial arts, basketball, tennis, and Jeopardy. He was an avid fan of the UConn men and women’s basketball teams.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, May 10, 2025, 9 am at St. Maron’s Church, 613 Main St., Torrington, CT followed by a memorial service at 11 am.
