Ann (Babic) Fox

Ann Babic Fox, 96, of Torrington passed away Feb. 18, 2024, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Fox.  Born in Torrington on March 8, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Hanecak Babic. She was a graduate of Wilson College and spent her life caring for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by six children, Bryan Fox, Diane (David ) Moraghan, Russell Fox, and Barry Fox all of Torrington, Jason Fox of White Plains NY and Janet (Robert) Harkins of Fuqua Varina, NC.  She also leaves three grandchildren, Jennifer Marola Flaherty of Virginia Beach VA, Kyla Fox Harol of Holly Springs NC, and Benjamin Fox of Wallingford CT, 6 great-grandchildren, Charlie and Cooper Harol, Avery and Evan Fox, and Brendan and Aldan Flaherty.  A special thanks to Barry for being mom's live-in caregiver for many years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday Feb. 23 at 11AM at Saint Francis Church.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.  online memorials www.phalenfuneral.com
