Ana M Bures

Ana Margarita (Maggie) Bures, 86,  of Torrington passed away Feb. 8, 2021 at her home.  She was born 12/10/1934 in Santurce,Puerto Rico and graduated University of PR , Mayaguez then graduated from St. Joseph’s College , West Hartford with her Masters in Social Work.

She worked for the State of CT 27 years working for DCF as a Social Worker.  She loved to travel, walk, helping and donating to the poor along with spending time with her family and friends that was her greatest joy!

She is Survived by her daughter Teresa Bures Kittle and her husband Glenn and their children, her grandchildren, Keisha, Glenn Jr and Keigen all from Torrington and with her Son, William Yurchick and wife Tobylynne of Litchfield  and grandchildren Olivia Yurchick and Liam Yurchick both of Dartmouth Mass. , Emma Murphy of Augusta Maine and Spencer Birkett of Morris CT.

  She was predeceased by her father  Antonio Bures and mother Rosario Salellas Bures sisters Carmen Bures, Rosario “Saratin” Villanueva and brother Jose Luis Bures.  She is survived by a brother Jose Antonio Bures wife his wife Carmen and numerous nieces and nephews.  Services are at the convenience of the family.
