William F Wasilus Jr

William F. Wasilus, Jr, 73, of Torrington, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at his home unexpectedly.
William was born in Waterbury, on May 30, 1946, the son of the late William Wasilus, Sr and Hedwig (Bozenski).  He graduated from Naugatuck High School in 1964. He proudly served in the U.S Air force during the Vietnam War. After returning home, Bill worked for Eversource Energy for 36 years.
In his retirement his greatest loves were fishing and hunting and playing with his grandchildren.
He leaves his two children, Jennifer Sgrott and Lyndsay Wasilus. He is survived by one sister Linnea Garvey and her husband John (Dave)Garvey. He also leaves two grandchildren Aviana Sgrott and Semira Belica and one niece and nephew.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s of Padua Church, 49 South Street, Litchfield CT.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family
