Virginia (Lang) Serra

Virginia Serra, 97, of Sharon, formerly of Torrington passed away Friday, April 19th, at Litchfield Woods. She was the wife of the late Nicholas Serra.

Virginia was born in Stewartstown, NH on September 11, 1921, a daughter of the late Louisa (Ramsay) and Karl Lang and was a long time Torrington resident.

She is survived by her children, Ramsay Mussen and wife Sandi of Winchester, David Mussen of Medford MA, Michael Serra and wife Rita of Kingsport TN, and Thomas Serra and wife Beth of Sharon. She also leaves grandchildren Nicholas and Michael Serra, Mitzi Shackleford, Ryan, Stephanie, and Lang Mussen and Jennifer Armillei, as well as several great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by first husband Everett Mussen and daughter Melodie Serra

Friends may call 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24th at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington.
