Virginia (Lucia) Savoia

Virginia Savoia, 95, of Torrington, passed away Wednesday, December 5th, at Maplewood Assisted Living in Newtown. She was the wife of Salvatore Savoia
   She was born Torrington June 30, 1923 to Donato and Margarite (Marinelli) Lucia  She also leaves a son Mark Savoia and spouse Cathy Vanaria, daughter  Sally Savoia and spouse Douglas Orr and  grandchildren Maggie Orr, Jack Orr (spouse-Carolyn Bates), Casey Orr.  She was predeceased by brothers Leonard,  Vincent, and Anthony Lucia and sisters Mary and Lucy Lucian, Molly Prezunak, Anna DeDominicis, Sue Urban,  and Angie Kozlak.
Family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 7th at Saint Peter Church in Torrington, CT with burial following at New Saint Francis Cemetery. www.phalenfuneral.com
