Virginia (Rebecchi) Renzullo

Virginia Renzullo, 88, of Torrington, CT, passed away Wednesday, March 28th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of Virileo "Vee" Renzullo who died in 1991.

Virginia was born in Torrington, CT on June 24, 1929, a daughter of the late Margaret (Givanni) and Cherubino Rebecchi.

She had been employed by McCann's and Nugent stores and also worked for Nidec.

A life long member of Saint Peter Church, she was also a member of Cavallari Post Auxiliary and the Columbiettes, and enjoyed Duckpin bowling. She also loved the beach and enjoying the sunshine, as well as traveling.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Richard and husband Gary of Winsted and their children Jamie Richard and fiance Peter Dowd and Patrick Richard and fiance Britany Porter, and son Victor "Skip" Renzullo of Winston Salem NC and his children Steven and wife Molly Renzullo and Victoria Renzullo and fiance Justin Levee, as well as great grandchildren Lyon and Wyatt Renzullo. She was predeceased by a brother Mario Rebecchi.

Funeral Services will be held 11:30 on Monday, April 2nd at Saint Peter Church in Torrington. Burial will follow at New Saint Francis Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the Mass 10:00 to 11:00 on Monday, at Phalen Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions can be made to Saint John Paul the Great Parish or Saint Maron Church.
