Virginia M. (Berti-Gerardi) Johnstone, 94, of Carrollton GA,  formerly of Torington,   died Sept 9, 2018.  She will be buried with her husband ,  the late John Gerardi on Saturday Oct 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at New Saint Francis Cemetery in Torrington CT.  Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.  on line memorials www.phalenfuneral.com
