Susan M Angelini

Susan  M. Angelini, 62, passed away peacefully at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital on October 30, 2019 after a brief illness.

She was born in Torrington on May 29, 1957, daughter of Anthony and Lillian (Moscato) Angelini.  A graduate of Torrington High School, she completed a Bachelor of General Studies degree from the University of Connecticut and a Masters of Arts degree in Special Education from Saint Joseph College.  She was employed as a Special Education Teacher in Waterbury, Naugatuck, Thomaston, Avon and West Hartford Public Schools and as a Homebound Tutor for the Torrington Board of Education. She also was a Career Training Opportunities Instructor at Northwest Connecticut Community College. Prior to a career in education she worked for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft division of United Technology Corporation.

Her friends will remember her fondness for horses, love of reading and devotion to her beloved cat Gemma, who was a family fixture for twenty-two years.  She enjoyed time spent at the seashore in the sunshine and living at her home at Highland Lake.

She is survived by her brother, Gary Angelini of Windsor, CT.
