Sandra (Kish) DeFrancisco

Sandra (Kish) DeFranciso,  77,  passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 20, 2019 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of Daniel J. DeFrancisco,  her husband of 58 years.
Sandra was born July 28, 1942 in Torrington,  daughter of the late Louis and Susie (Sikora) Kish.  She was a graduate of Torrington High School.  She had worked as a Bookeeper at A&P Supermarket in Torrington and later as an Administrative Assistant for Cesco Steel of Torrington.  She was a loving and devoted wife,  mother,  and sister,  who found great joy in spending time with her family,  especially traveling with her sisters,  and loved the casinos.
In addition to her husband,  she leaves her son Brian DeFrancisco and his wife Diane of Torrington;  brother John Kish and wife Cynthia of Lexington, SC.; sister Suzanne Kish of Torrington; brother Stephen Kish of Torrington;  sister Marilyn Winters and husband Al of Torrington;  several nieces and nephews and beloved cat Joey.  She was predeceased by a sister,  Barbara Nigrelli.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday Sept. 24 at 11:00 AM at Phalen Funeral Home 285 Migeon Ave Torrington.  Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.  Friends may call prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers,  memorial contributions can be made to the Smilow Cancer Center 200 Kennedy DR Torrington CT 06790.
