Rudolph Baras

Rudolph Baras, 66, of Torrington, CTpassed away peacefully Monday, July 30th at home. He was the husband of Linda Freeman Baras of 23years.
Rudolph was born in Harlem, NY on September 22, 1951, a son of the late Leonor and Louis Baras and served in the Marine Corps during Vietnam. An avid fisherman and hunter, he loved his hobbies and cars.   He cherished all of his friendships and his dog Sadie.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his children Brian Baras of Pittsfield MA and Jesse Baras of Canaan, Jennifer Baras of Brooklyn, and Jeannie Baras of North Carolina. He also leaves step children Dawn Barlow of Thomaston, Heather Hanson of Torrington and John Hanson of North Carolina, grandchildren  Phoebe and Nova Barlow, Ben and Gracie Lafferty, Kyle and Ryan Hanson, Casius Baras,  Giana, Unique, Franchesca, Latrel, Nevaeh.
Friends may call Monday Aug. 6,  5:00 to 7:00 PM at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington.  A Prayer Service will follow at 7 PM
