Patricia Yorkavich Obituary

Patricia A. (Clayton) Yorkavich, 94, passed away Saturday, January 12, at Litchfield Woods, Torrington. She was the widow of Edward F. Yorkavich, Sr.

Patricia was born in Bristol, in 1924, and raised in Torrington, daughter to the late William and Mabel Clayton. She was employed, for over 30 years, by the Price & Lee Company (publisher of the City Directory). After her retirement, she and Ed lived in Ocala, Florida for 15 years. She returned to Connecticut after his passing, in 2001, to be near family. Her greatest joys included traveling, dancing, and reading.

She is survived by two daughters, Denise Turrell and her husband Roger, of Holly Springs, NC, Patricia MacIver and her husband Donald, of Terryville; one son, Edward Yorkavich, Jr. and his wife Joanne, of Torrington; three grandchildren, Denise Starn, Matthew Yorkavich and his wife Diana, Jared Yorkavich and his wife Maria; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
