Nicholas Santoro

Nicholas Santoro, 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 22, 2017, surrounded by his family.  He lived in Torrington, CT his entire life.  Nick owned Santoro’s Plumbing & Heating for many years until he retired in 2006. Nick is survived by his wife Elsie Schmidt Santoro, his son David Santoro and his wife Christine, daughter Susan McKenna and her husband Casey, his son Nicholas, his daughter Lori Cheever and her husband John. He is also survived by his grandchildren David Santoro and wife Sarah, Kelli Mckenna and husband Dan, Erin McKenna and husband Matt, Mike Santoro & Sonja, Ryan Santoro and wife Nichole, Taylor Santoro and wife Indira, Mikala Santoro and Rob, Adam Santoro and Jessica, Nicole Cheever and Corey, & Sean Cheever. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews.  He was a veteran of World War 2, member of the Elks Club, Plumbers Association & Property Committee at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He is predeceased by his parents Vito & Anna Santoro , his brother Dan Santoro and Sister Molly Marchell.

Funeral Services are Thursday, May 25, 2017 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 837 Charles St., Torrington  Friends may call prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

 A reception to celebrate Nick's life will be immediately following in the Fellowship Hall.
