Michael Solgovic Jr

    Michael Solgovic Jr. of Greeneville, TN born October 27, 1948 in Torrington, CT passed away June 28 2017 peacefully in his wife's arms, after spending time with his family for Father's Day.  Micheal fought a long battle with cancer for the past 13 years. Michael (also known as Mickey) owned his own business as a carpenter, along with his wife, for the past 25 years. 

Mickey was a man of many talents. He loved his family very much,  he also loved to travel, always taking time for long car rides on Sundays. Moving from Torrington to Greeneville where he spent time remodeling his home with his wife and restoring his 1954 Chevy BelAir with his sons Michael Jr. and Walter Perlotto.  Michael was predeceased by a Daughter Tia Lisa Solgovic. He is survived by his wife Carol Solgovic of Greeneville,TN., a sister Sharon and her Husband Lou Clement of Greeneville,TN,  two brothers  David Solgovic of Torrington,CT and Burton Koch of Enfield,CT  He also leaves  four daughters, Lisa and her husband Greg Kingston of Kingwood,TX, Tonya Heacox and her beloved Jeff Campbell of Greeneville,TN. Roseann and Johnny Phon of Washington,Ct. and Tara Perlotto and her beloved John Tidd of Torrington,Ct. two sons Michael Solgovic the 3rd and his wife Tina of Greeneville,TN. Walter Perlotto and his wife Stephanie also of Greeneville,TN.  Along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will always be remembered as an amazing Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Friend. Services will be held at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington,  September 9, 2017 from 9:00  - 10:00 AM followed by burial at Hillside Cemetery.
