Mary Jo Fuoco, 78, of Torrington, passed away Friday, February 23rd, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of the late Patrick J. Fuoco Sr.

Born in New Britain, CT on March 25, 1939, a daughter of the late Albina (Stepanek) and Leo F Niederer, she enjoyed family and loved to cook.

She is survived by sons Patrick J. Fuoco Jr, and Stephen Fuoco and wife Julie, and daughters Julie Schlapfer and husband Kevin and Lauren Brignolo and husband Joseph.

She also leaves 7 grandsons, Colin and wife Jennifer, Joshua and wife Shantelle, Alex, Zachary, Adam, Jacob, and Jared and great granddaughter Kiona, as well as a sister Leona Bartnik and brother Leo Niederer.
