Leon Everette Drake, Jr. " Charlie", 60, of Torrington, CT, passed away in his home, on March 7, 2019.

Leon was born in Hartford, CT on March 9, 1958, the only son of the Late Josephine (DeGray) and Leon Everette Drake Sr.

He was employed as a machinist for the Torrington Company at the time of his retirement, and had previously worked for Son Chief and RBC bearings.

He loved his family and friends, enjoyed going to coffee shops and Classic car Shows with his award winning Corvette.

He is survived by his beloved step mother Phyllis Drake and her 12 children (6 sisters/6 brothers) , along with two sisters, Lisa Miller, her husband Allan Miller, and their 3 children of Winsted; and Marylou Drake (pre-deceased) and her daughter Angel McLellan of Torrington.

He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, including his closest cousin Robert Bailey of Torrington and his best friend of 35 years Keith Huff.
