Joseph Marciano

 Joseph Marciano, 76, of  Torrington passed away Tuesday, October 15th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Anita Monschein Marciano

Joseph was born in Torrington, CT on June 5, 1943, a son of the late Gina (Giorgini) and Joseph  Marciano. A graduate of Torrington High,  he started his career at Mencuccini Grocery and worked most of his life as a Construction Supervisor.  He was  a member of The Germania Club,  Foresters of America,  and The Veneta Society.
He leaves his daughters Cheryl Pearson and Lisa Augustine And husband Tim,  grandchildren Shawn, Justin, and Rebecca Pearson,  and Ariana Sweet and husband Chris, Morgan and Ryan Augustine,   and great grandson Riley Wade Sweet.  He also leaves  sister Patricia Ackley and brother Robert and wife Sylvia Marciano,   several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his wife,  he was predeceased by son in law Edward Pearson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM on Tuesday, October 22nd at Saint Peter Church in Torrington, CT.  Burial will follow at Saint Peter Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions can be made to Saint John Paul the Great Parish 160 Main St Torrington CT 06790.  www.phalenfuneral.com
