Joseph F Dziedzic

Joseph F Dziedzic, 88, of Torrington, CT, passed away Monday, November 12th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. He was the husband of 62 years of Jean Wilson Dziedzic.

Joseph was born in Torrington, CT on May 16, 1930, a son of the late Mary (Storzek) and Anton Dziedzic. and served in the US Army during the Korean War.

He worked as a construction superintendent for CH Nickerson Construction Company, and helped with the discovery of Dinosaur footprints in Rocky Hill.

He was a Polish Hero and a "Swap Shop" legend in Torrington

In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Dean, Collin,  Darcy and Dana Dziedzic, all who loved him beyond words, a sister Teresa Beaudry and brother Anthony Dziedzic. He was predeceased by brothers Chester, Walter, Benny, and Stanley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 15th at Saint Francis Church in Torrington, with burial following at New Saint Francis Cemetery. online memorials www.phalenfuneral.com
