Jillian Melissa Nichols

Jillian Melissa Nichols, 22, of Goshen, passed away unexpectedly Sunday,
July 23rd.
Jillian was born in Waterbury, CT on April 29, 1995, daughter of Janet Dember of Goshen and the late William Nichols. She was a graduate of Wamogo High School class of 2013 and was attending Central Connecticut State University where she was a Dean’s List student majoring in Social Work. While at Wamogo she excelled at basketball, field hockey, and tennis. Jillian was an accomplished musician playing saxophone in both the Wamogo and Regional High School bands. She was a lifeguard, swim instructor and Pool Manager at Woodridge Lake and
a nanny for many families. She enjoyed country concerts, fishing, her many friends and family and her new Yellow Lab puppy “Tig”.
In addition to her mother, she leaves her sister Emily Nichols and grandmother Alice Dember. She was predeceased by her father, William Nichols, grandfather Howard Dember, and grandmother Eleanor Lovallo.
Friends are invited to call 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 29, at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington, followed by a Memorial Service.
