Gordon Allyn Vaill

Gordon Allyn Vaill, 64 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Backus Hospital in Norwich. Gordy was born on July 25, 1954 in Torrington, the son of Violet W. Vaill and the late Gordon M. Vaill of Goshen. He attended Wamogo Regional High School and Marvelwood School. He was a career logger, loved the outdoors, and an avid hunter. He lived life on his own terms, and everyone who knew him, liked him.

Besides his mother of Seven Lakes, North Carolina, he leaves his sister, Susan Vaill and nephew, Troy Simoncelli of Bethlehem, and niece, Francesca Simoncelli of Torrington.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor’s choice.

Phalen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
