Gloria (Jauregui) Fasciano

 Gloria Fasciano, 91, of  Torrington, CT, passed away  Friday, November 15th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Fasciano.
Gloria was born in Westfield , MA on June 16, 1928, a daughter of the late Leonor (Menendez)  and Eladio  Jauregui.  She had been employed by the Torrington Company and was an  office assistant for the Dental Practice of the late  Dr Scopino.
An avid sports fan,she was her son and grandson's biggest fan,  and a supporter of UCONN basketball.  Proud of her Basque Heritage,  she was a volunteer tutor for English as a second language program at Torrington Middle School at its inception.

She is survived by a son Rick Fasciano and wife Debra and a daughter Lynn Gelormino and husband Gary.  She also leaves grandchildren Joseph and wife Diane Fasciano,  Kate Fasciano and partner Richard Rhatigan,  Scott Gelormino and wife Stefanie, Kristen Wabrek and husband Steve,  and Michael Gelormino and wife Erin,   great grandchildren Evan, Vincenzo, Alexander, Alison, Jenna, Ava, Elyse, and Charlotte. She also leaves a sister Genevieve Gangi and sister in law Carmen Jauregui,  several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Joseph Jauregui.
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM on Saturday, November 23rd at Saint Peter Church in Torrington.  Friends may call prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 Saturday at Phalen Funeral Home
