Gershom Black

Gershom Black, 92 of Torrington, Connecticut passed away peacefully and entered the gates of his heavenly home on Friday, June 14, 2019. Gershom was born on September 26, 1926 a son of the late John and Maud Black. He was employed at Union Hardware, Torrington Manufacturing, Colonial Bank and then Torrington Company. He is survived by several nephews,,nieces, cousins and friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, 30 June, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church in Torrington. He adored his family and had a great zest for life and an impeccable memory. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family wishes to thank his devoted caregivers, the staff of Wolcott Hall and the Workman Home for their thoughtfulness and consideration.
