Geraldine Vasilaitis, 77, of Winsted, CT went home to eternal peace with our Lord July 5, 2018. She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Violet Anderson.

Mom was a loving mother, her life was entirely about her children. She loved life and she loved living despite any difficulties that came her way. Her unwavering faith in God kept her strong.
She taught us to keep going no matter what and that things will always get better. She was always there for us with her love and support. She always encouraged us to stick together and
to be there for each other and to always have forgiveness in our hearts. She was our inspiration and still is, to keep going, to go forward, to strive, to be strong, to get mad and put up a fight if you have to. That was Mom.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Todd Vale, her angel on Earth. He took care of her especially during the last two years when she was so ill and fragile and struggling. Todd
was her caretaker, he stayed vigilant day and night responding to every need. He was her son yet became so much more, he was her companion, her confidant, her pillar of strength,
inspiration and hope, he was her buddy! From your sisters and brother, Thank you Todd!

She leaves a son Scott Vasilaitis, and her daughters April Allen and her husband Mark and Cindi Dew and her husband Martin. She also leaves a granddaughter Rachel Vitzoski whom she
loved to the ends of the Earth. Rachel, Grandma is sending you hugs and kisses from Heaven!

A private ceremony will be held at the St. Francis Cemetery in Torrington on Friday July 13th
