Florence M (Rydzeski) Bierce

 Florence M Bierce, 88, of Harwinton, CTpassed away Wednesday, November 20th, at UCONN Health Center, Farmington.  She was the wife of the late John D. Bierce.
Florence was born in Bronx, NY on February 23, 1931, a daughter of the late Lillian (Campbell) and Zygmond  Rydzeski.  She had worked for Torin, Nidec,  and Sun Chief and was a Shop Steward at Nidec.  She enjoyed time with family and friends,  playing cards and scratchies.
She is survived by sons Kenneth Bierce,  Richard Bierce and wife Cindi,  daughters Theresa Grosso and husband David  and Julia Casper and husband David,  7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son John.

A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, November 29th at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington, with burial following at new Saint Francis Cemetery.  Friends may call prior to the service from 11AM to 1PM.
