Flora “Flo” Ibell

April 20, 1946- March 23, 2017

Flora Mae Ibell passed away March 23, 2017, with family and friends by her side.  She was born in Winsted CT to the late Francis and Hazel Cochron Ibell. Flora was one of 12 children and resided in Winsted and Torrington. 

For the last 11 years she shared a home with Peggy Riska of  Torrington.

Flora enjoyed being out in the community, having a cup of coffee or sharing a meal with a friend. She was provided support and companionship through Marrakesh.

She is survived by her sister Sandra Lunsford, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by four brothers including Harold Sr., Francis Jr., and 6 sisters including Anita, Brenda Collins, Patty and Cathy Ibell.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 2pm until 3 pm, at Phalen Funeral Home, 285 Migeon Aveune, Torrington.  Interment will be held at a later date and held at the convenience of the family.
