Eleanor (Roman) Kugler

Eleanor Kugler, 90, of Torrington, CT, passed away Wednesday, May 31st, at Paradigm Health Center. She was the wife of the late George Kugler

Eleanor was born in Terryville, CT on February 21, 1927, a of the late Sophie (Dzlinski) and Julius Roman.

She was employed at the Lunch Counter at Woolworth's in Torrington for 18 years and later worked for NU Stars. She was a member of the Columbiettes and Sullivan Senior Center and enjoyed Polka dancing.

She leaves her son Mark Kugler and daughter Marsha Deming, grandchildren Clayton Deming III and wife Kristen, Allison Stiefel and husband Jason, Cathy Sullivan and husband Jerry, Joanne Joray, and Sherry Dean, and several great grandchildren. She also leaves a sister Florence Peniscowski and several nieces and nephews, and extended family Kenneth Bierce and Lynne Mucci.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 3rd at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington, Friends may call prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. www.phalenfuneral.com
