Eleanor (Montefeltri) Bourque

Eleanor Bourque, 83, of Torrington, passed away unexpectedly at home Sunday, May 5th.   She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Bourque.

Eleanor was born in Torrington, CT on October 3, 1935, the eldest daughter of the late Margaret (Bonetti) and James  Montefeltri.
She was a lifelong employee at Tri-Rotor Inc in Torrington. She traveled the world, and up to the time of her passing enjoyed tennis, bowling, and line dancing.  As a devoted mother and grandmother, she stayed fully engaged in all of their pursuits and remained in contact no matter their location. 

She is survived by her three children: daughters Leslie Secor and husband John of Harwinton and their children William and Meghan;  Tracey Fritz and husband Charles of West Suffield and children Ryan and Katlyn Cook; and son Gary Bourque and wife Cindy of Greenville, SC and sons Josh and Jeremy.  She also leaves sisters Janet Thacker and Kathy Garfield both of Torrington and was predeceased by a brother James Montefeltri and sister Elsie Perticone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 9th at Saint Francis Church in Torrington, CT. Burial will be private at Saint Peter Cemetery.
