Edward "Pudge" Pearson

 Edward A (Pudge) Pearson, 57, of Torrington, CTpassed away Tuesday, September 10th, at Hartford Hospital.  He was the husband of Cheryl Marciano Pearson.
Edward was born in Torrington, CT on October 24, 1961, a son of William Pearson and the late Mary (Gontkovich) Pearson.  He was a graduate of Torrington High,  Class of 1980.
He was a co owner of  Pearson Door LLC.  An avid hunter and fisherman,  he also enjoyed golf,  watching movies,  and telling great stories.  He was a member of Torrington Elks Club and was active with Torrington Youth Soccer,  and was previously selected as Coach of the Year.
In addition to his wife and father,  he leaves his children,  Shawn Pearson, Justin Pearson,  Ariana Sweet and husband Chris and their son Riley Wade Sweet,  and Rebecca Pearson.  He is also survived by brothers William Pearson Jr and wife Pat and Kenneth Pearson and sister Lisa Pearson and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 14th at Saint Peter Church in Torrington.  Burial will follow at St Peter Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Torrington Youth Soccer or Saint John Paul the Great Parish.  www.phalenfuneral.com
