Edward James Calnan

 Edward James Calnan, 51, of Torrington,  lost his battle with drug addiction August 10, 2019.

Edward was born in Torrington, CT on May 25, 1968, a son of MaryJane (Barber) Calnan and the late Edward J Calnan and was a graduate of Torrington High School.

In addition to his mother,  he leaves a brother Michael E Calnan and wife Judi of Greenville SC and nephews Max, Riley, and Will of Winter Garden Fl, nieces Whitney and Jessica  Jones, aunts Ginny and husband Joe Maraia of Torrington and Joan Vuillemot and husband Jerry of Harbour Beach Fl and uncle Alphonse Gautieri of the Villages FL and his late wife Sally Ann Barber Gautieri,  several cousins and his beloved cat Sweet Jerry.  He was predeceased by grandparents James and Lillian Daniels Calnan of Pittsfield MA and Edward and Virginia Thrall Barber and uncles Edward and David Barber.
 Services will be held 7:00 PM on Friday, August 16th at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington, Friends may call prior to the service from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
