Dorothy A (Grondine) Simonic

Dorothy A Simonic, 92, of Torrington, CT, Wednesday, February 28th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of 65 years of the late John Simonic.

Dorothy was born in Spaulding Township, Michigan on July 25, 1925, a daughter of the late Mary (Charles) and Samuel Grondine and moved from the Menominee area to be with family here in 2007.

She had been active in Church and Community activities in Michigan, especially 4H. She was also a member of The DAV Auxilary

She is survived by sons Kenneth Simonic of Colorado Spring CO and Mark Simonic and wife Lenda of Fort Walton FL, and daughters Mary Leslie and husband Scott of Carbondale CO, and Jeanne Bodett of Torrington. She also leaves 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 5th at Saint Francis Church in Torrington, CT .
