David Alves Obituary

David Alves, 79, of New Hartford, CT, passed away Friday, December 13th, at home. He was the husband of Katherine "Dale( Gross) Alves.

David was born in Fall River MA on July 7, 1940, a son of the late Alice (Ferreira) and Manuel Alves. He had worked for Underwood Typewriter Co., The Torrington Co., and Kimberly Clark. He was a loving grandfather and enjoyed spending time with family
In addition to his wife, he leaves a son Richard and wife Darci Alves of New Hartford and grandchildren Daniel Alves and fiance Kimmy Matthews. Christina Ruzbasan and husband Michael, Melissa Carbone and husband Timothy, and Katherine Alves as well as 8 great grandchildren. He also leaves a sister Virginia Ehlinger.
