Dale Carpenter

Dale Robert Carpenter, 49, of Torrington passed away on Sunday, December 1st.  Dale was born in Torrington on October 26, 1970. He was the son of  Delores (Lemelin) Carpenter and the late Elvin Carpenter.  Dale leaves behind a son, Dale Robert Carpenter, Jr., his mother Delores, sister Barbara and brother Elvin, and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his father, sister Joyce and brother David.  Dale was the comedian of our family and kept us in stitches with his kooky dance moves and hilarious exchanges with his sister Joyce.  Though he had struggles of his own, Dale had a kind and generous heart and was always willing to help others in need.  He will always be our “little fellow” and we will miss him beyond words.  In keeping with Dale’s wishes, there will be no service.  An informal gathering of family and friends will be held at The Winchester restaurant on Saturday, December 7th,  from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.   www.phalenfuneral.com
