Ann Robustelli

Ann Jendrejcak Dudzinski Robustelli entered into Heaven on March 9, 2018.  Until 1972 she was the wife of twenty three years of the late Peter A. Robustelli, who passed in 1987.  She was born in Unionville, CT on March 29th, 1921, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kacmarcik) Jendrejcak.

She attended Farmington High School and Northwest Community College and graduated from Waterbury Hospital School of Nursing as an LPN in 1971. She worked at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, retiring in 1985, then continued to work for Paris Real Estate and home health care.

Ann was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and was active in several church functions. She belonged to the Sacred Heart Altar Society, serving as Vice President and Treasurer. She was also a member of The Sisters of Saint Cyril and Methodius. Ann was also a longtime member and volunteer for the Sullivan Senior Center and served a term as Commissioner for the center.  Ann was a lifelong gardener, enjoyed cooking and baking, and liked to compete at local fairs, winning many awards over the years.

She is survived by one son, Peter Robustelli and life partner Andrea Benedict of Torrington, two daughters, Carol and her husband Billy Buice of Torrington, Susan and her husband William Strait Jr., of Bloomfield, five grandchildren Dawn Lascari and husband Albert,  Denise McCarthy and husband Steve, Henry Borovy, Michelle Finn and husband Guy, and Michael Benedict and wife Erin, and eleven great grandchildren, Matthew, Eric, and Ryan Borovy,  Domenic, Alessandra, and Anthony Lascari,  Kevin and Shannon McCarthy,  Patrick and Brayden Finn,  and Greyson Benedict.

She is predeceased by an infant son Joseph, five brothers, three sisters and one grandson.

Funeral Services will be held Friday March 16 at 11:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church.  Burial will follow at Saint Peter Cemetery  Friends may call prior to the Mass from 10-11 AM at Phalen Funeral Home.  Memorial Contributions can be  made to The Sullivan Senior Center 88 E.
