Allyn Edgerton Sedgwick, born June 22, 1924, son of Ethel Sedgwick Bartholomew and Ralph Sedgwick, died peacefully in his home on June 1, 2018. An avid golfer, he was the commissioner of golf at Eastwood Men’s League for many years, and was a member of The Brothers-in Law Golf League and Fairview Men’s League. Thirty years ago, Allyn married Agnes Domonell, a Torrington High School teacher. For 25 years, the couple spent their winters in Port Orange, Florida, where they played golf on most of the courses in the area. They also spent many weeks in the summer at their cottage on Martha’s Vineyard.
